my first proper meal in Japan was this bowl of 500yen ramen. one of the more expensive meals i had (that was when cash was still abundant. haha) YUM YUM YUM! i cannot emphasize how good this is. the photo doesn't do the ramen ANY justice.
look at the yolk!!!
anyway, i had a deja vu when i tried the same ramen at a shop in singapore. i can't believe i didn't take any photos! dammit. i want to go back to japan.
this saturday might not have been the most productive by most people's standards. watched one episode of japanese drama, played my fb games (it has since become a ritual for me to start my day) and practiced 2 hours of bass. gonna head down to my gramps' later for dinner. yay!
i'm frustrated at the lack of bass videos on youtube. especially my exam pieces! i'm so gonna contribute some one day!!! i haven't thought of a cool stage name for myself. anyone has any suggestions??
here's the original video! i really loved it after watching a recorded performance of it on youtube (below). it's the year 1981, and you would think guys wouldn't wear lipstick, eyeliner and blusher. :) personally, i think guys with makeup looks hot! are you ready??
watch this if you prefer the man-with-more-makeup version. swear you won't regret watching! btw, ALL of them have striking good looks!!!!! the lady in the pink dress just melted me with her gaze! all these when i wasn't even born yet?? c'mon..
don't you want to mambo?

even though life sometimes kind of suck, especially when one is jobless and tends to think too much... glad for all the small things in life!
i love dresses!!! i love reading good/interesting books!!! i especially love my crazy friends!!!
if only the world worked only on social norms instead of market norms...
i just watched the first episode and it's so touching that i cried. :( but that's the way with japanese dramas. they save the best for the first. the show looks promising, looks like there were lots of potential for plot development! and of course the main draw is.. there are lots of good looking guys in the show!!!!!!!!!!
it was at that moment when Night (the robot) told Riiko that he will never leave her (etc) and she asked if he was programmed to say that. to which he said yes. in a way, humans might not be that different.
